Overview

The Tribe Uganda Experience is an intimate 10 day trip for 50 people to some of the most beautiful parts of Uganda. The trip includes a 10 day packed itinerary of community work mixed with music and entertainment and a chance to experience the beauty and adventure of Uganda including Gorilla trekking, safari and white water rafting. It’s the ULTIMATE volunteer experience and a fresh, meaningful and exciting approach to travel. Our team has been working in Uganda since 2015 and is committed to the ongoing sustainability of The One Love Project, education of our students and working with families in the community of Kabale to improve their quality of life. Since 2015 we have raised over £300,000 and taken over 300 volunteers to the region. In February 2022, we returned to Kabale to build a special needs centre for children with disabilities as part of the 'Our Little Tribe' project.

Hosts

We've been travelling to Uganda, specifically the Kabale region, for over five years where we've carried out an immense amount of work in the local community. Our team on the ground is run by Martin, who was born and raised in Kabale, and went on to become one of the best tour guides in Lake Bunyonyi.

Kai

Kai

European club promoter Kai first travelled to Uganda in 2015 and fell in love with the region of Kabale. On this first trip he went on a boat tour of Lake Bunyonyi with local tour guide Martin. This would be the start of an incredible friendship built around a mutual love of dance music. Kai has returned to Uganda many times since, taking multiple groups of volunteers to build and maintain The ONE LOVE Project (formerly The ABODE Junior School) and other community projects.
